NRF Joins Forces with SOS Thailand to Continue the 4th Edition of “Soul Kitchen by NRF,” Enhancing Nutrition and Learning at Bangjak School (Komon Prasert Uthit)

NR Instant Produce Public Company Limited (NRF) has collaborated with the Scholars of Sustenance Foundation Thailand (SOS Thailand) to continue its social initiative, “Soul Kitchen by NRF,” with the 4th edition held at Bangjak School (Komon Prasert Uthit). The project aims to enhance both nutrition and learning for students and the surrounding community through hands-on cooking activities and comprehensive health education.
This time, NRF and SOS Thailand prepared part of the cooking ingredients, while the local community prepared the remaining items in advance, reflecting genuine collaboration among all parties involved. Every dish was carefully prepared with a strong focus on cleanliness, safety, and nutritional value.
At the same time, students in the area participated in a nutrition education session led by local public health officers. The session provided basic knowledge on selecting appropriate and healthy food choices, helping to strengthen their understanding of nutrition while complementing the provision of quality meals.
The menu prepared for the 4th edition of Soul Kitchen by NRF featured shrimp oil fried rice made with NRF’s shrimp oil paste, stir-fried vegetables with NRF’s oyster sauce, clear soup using NRF soup products, Thai green curry made with NRF’s green curry paste, and fried chicken served with NRF’s plum sauce and chili sauce. Fresh fruit smoothies were also provided to add refreshment. In addition, NRF distributed Porkwan chili sauce to households in the community to extend its goodwill beyond the activity.
The atmosphere was filled with warmth and cooperation between staff, volunteers, children, and people in the community. The 4th edition of “Soul Kitchen by NRF” goes beyond meal distribution, focusing on strengthening nutritional knowledge and raising awareness of responsible food resource utilization under the “Zero Food Waste” concept, which lies at the heart of the project.
