NRF Partners with SOS Thailand to Launch “Soul Kitchen by NRF,” Delivering Nutritious Meals to Underserved Communities

NR Instant Produce Public Company Limited (NRF), led by Chief Executive Officer Dan Pathomvanich, announced a partnership with the Scholars of Sustenance Foundation (SOS), a non-profit organization dedicated to tackling hunger and food insecurity by rescuing surplus food and redistributing it to communities in need. Representing SOS Thailand, Mr. Tawee Impoolsup, Country Manager for Thailand, signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Together, the two organizations will continue supporting communities and the environment through the launch of the “Soul Kitchen by NRF” project, which aims to develop nutritionally balanced meals for vulnerable and disadvantaged groups. The project also seeks to reduce surplus food and ensure that nutritious ingredients not used commercially can instead improve the health and quality of life of recipients.
Dan Pathomvanich stated that “this collaboration with SOS Thailand marks another important step in NRF’s commitment to social responsibility. As a global leader in the food industry, we are committed to producing high-quality food for consumers while giving back to society by redirecting surplus ingredients and nutritious food to those in need. This ensures access to clean, safe, and nutritious meals for vulnerable communities.
Food donation is not only about addressing immediate hunger but also about improving the long-term health and quality of life of those receiving support. At the same time, it helps reduce food loss that could otherwise become an environmental burden. This collaboration brings together the business and social sectors to create a more effective and sustainable food management system.
We believe that this partnership between NRF and SOS Thailand can serve as a model of how businesses can contribute to building a better society. We also hope it will inspire other organizations to take part in tackling social and environmental challenges by sharing resources and creating genuine value.”
“This project will be the continuous cornerstone of the event for society, alleviating suffering and elevating awareness about surplus food management and inspiring all sectors to be involved in creating a strong and sustainable future. Additionally, NRF plans to expand this project to the United Kingdom, where there remains a significant homeless population in need of support.” Dan added.
Under the MOU, NRF will provide the ingredients, while SOS Thailand will handle storage, sorting, transportation, and distribution to social organizations, low-income communities, and vulnerable groups. SOS Thailand will also oversee the entire management process to ensure that all food delivered remains safe, clean, and of high quality.
